The Brazilian Psychoanalytic Society of Porto Alegre (SBPdePA) is a non-profit scientific society, based in Porto Alegra in Brazil, whose main purpose is psychoanalytic study.
In 2009 SBPdePA started the training of psychoanalysts of children and adolescents. Characterised by large number of activities it performs, the SBPdePA also promotes scientific study of psychoanalysis and has published a psychoanalytical journal since 1999.
As a way of honoring the 100th anniversary of the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA), SBPdePA began a project called the "Annual Meeting of the Brazilian Studies on the Work of Sigmund Freud."
