The IPA makes a number of awards at its biennial Congress. The following Awards and Prizes are scheduled to be given in July 2023 in Cartagena, Colombia.
- Elise M. Hayman Award for the Study of the Holocaust and Genocide
- The Elisabeth Young-Bruehl Prejudice Award
- Hayman Prize for Published Work Pertaining to Traumatised Children and Adults
- International New Groups Committee Award for Analysts in training From Study Groups and Regional Institutes
- Psychoanalytic Research Exceptional Contribution Awards
- Psychoanalytic Training Today Award
- Tiresias

IPA in the Community and the World Awards 2023
The IPA in the Community and the World Awards serve to recognise the valuable work of psychoanalysts working in their local communities and in the broader world. The awards will be presented to the most effective projects that support the work of the following areas, all represented by specific IPA in the Community and the World committees.
