The Hellenic Pschoanalytical Society was founded in 1982 by a group of Greeks who had trained in the United States, France and Canada.
Headquartered in Athens, the Hellenic Psychoanalytical Society is part of the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA) founded by Sigmund Freud in March 1910.
The Society is a member of the European Federation of Psychoanalysis (EPF).
